Chick-Fil-A Mania

Adrian Molina

Annaville and Calallen residents have known that a Chick-Fil-A restaurant has been long overdue now. This brand new Chick-Fil-A restaurant opening also comes with new jobs, free Chick-Fil-A for a year,  prosperity, and happiness to our community. And TM students had quite a bit to say about the grand opening.

What do you think about the grand opening of Chick-Fil-A?

Julian Flores ’20: It’s great. Packed pretty much all the time and it’s a fast-paced work environment, but being surrounded with fun, new people makes it all worth the rush. Everyone in the area loves it.

Lance Turner ’21: I think it’s good for the community because we have all been waiting for it to be in Calallen.

Why did you choose to work at Chick-FIl-A, and do you enjoy it?

Flores: I believed it would be a great first job and a fun way to earn some money. I enjoy every day at work, coming in contact with new people and tasks makes it very fun.

Turner: It feels like every time I went before getting hired everybody had a good attitude and I felt I good fit in perfectly and yes I do enjoy it because it brings joy to me everyday helping and serving people.

What do you expect to come from this Chick-Fil-A store?

Flores: I expect great food and great memories to come for all of our area.

Turner: I expect nothing but great experiences and memories being made here from the customers and employees.

Now hearing from two of TM students that work at Chick-Fil-A, we have a bright idea of what the bringing of this new franchise will bring to our small community. And as far as we can see it will only bring joy, happiness, and great meal to sit in your stomach.
